What We Do

As we've gotten more experienced in this field, we've come to realize the difference between what we can do and what we do best. We are now in the envious position of only doing what we do best. The following is what we do best:

  • College Consortium websites. Our first website was a college consortium website back in 1995. We think there was color TV back then but we're not sure, it was so long ago. Over the years we've created several college consortium websites, innovating some features that are now becoming more common, like a majors search, a sports search, a fine-arts & extracurricular activities search, college profiles, faculty profiles, alumna/alumni profiles, student profiles, all-in-one information request forms, to name a few.
  • Emarketing programs to support the above. Since 2002, we have sent out a few million messages to subscribers, using the latest technology to connect with the various base audiences.
  • College website evaluations. Most colleges cannot answer the most basic questions about their own websites like:
    • What exactly, were the improvements made last year?
    • How were they supposed to improve the website and how has that worked out?
    • Is there an online stylesheet available?
    • Is there an online photo gallery available?
    • And most importantly, how does it compare to the competition's websites?

We document each client's website with screen captures and do the same with their overlap marketing group's websites. Each client ends up with a 200-plus page document [most are around 300 pages] that clearly details the current status of the client's website along usability, tangibility and entropy lines. Not only is this an evaluation with recommendations for improvement, it's also an historical document so when somewhat asks in 5 years, "what did your website even look like 5 years ago," you can pull this out of the drawer and show them. And who knows, it might actually provide a guide for improvements in the future, ones that will bring advantage over the competition's websites.

  • Photography and Photos. Astonishingly, what most websites [like this one] lack are numerous, large and clear pictures that give users a strong sense of "tangibility." Our professional photography background goes back over 30 years across a couple continents. Since we were some of the early adopters of digitial imaging starting with digital video back in the mid-80s, we have developed a sixth sense for photo optimization for websites. We know what works and we know what to promote.

Today, it's not enough to post information and hope that an audience will be swayed. It's gotten simpler and more complex at the same time ... like a lot things. Find out why we are the leader and innovator in this niche market by contacting us.
